The LLM for Software Engineering Lab (LLMSE) is affiliated with the School of Software at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. It is located in the Minhang campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, primarily in room1405 and 1407. The founding directors of LLMSE are Professors Beijun Shen and Xiaodong Gu. The main research interests of LLMSE include large language models for code, code generation, code translation, defect detection and repair.

The main research interests of ISE include software repository mining, defect prediction, semantic web, software social network analysis, and some other related areas. Currently our research mainly involves: Large language models in software engineering, code translation, semi-supervised learning in defect prediction, developer and task recommendation in software crowdsourcing, identity linkage across software communities, user satisfaction evaluation of opensource projects, software programming knowledge base construction, expert detection of software communities, cross-platform developer programming ability modeling and evaluation, software repository search, recommendation in software communities, etc.
